Definition - Heathrow Injection: The phenomenon of sudden and very rapid weight gain, particularly experienced by non-British persons, upon settling in London.
I think it comes down to a mixture of -
- going out and socialising, often drinking,
- eating quite random foods, mostly quick dinners late at night and
- a cold winter (not wanting to leave the comfort of your home with the radiator on)
But I have been VERY determined for this NOT to happen. And how I am doing this you ask?
POP Pilates!
Pop Pilates has become my new found obsession. I try to as often as possible, in the comfort of my own home, to complete a few sessions to ensure my body is in working order. I ran across these videos on you tube and like Cassey the instructor, I think she has spunk and motivates me to try. Her amazing body also shows to me that this works!!
So, I've got my new pilates mat and I'm ready to POP!
